IOWA'S RIDE Charter Campground

Join us in Grinnell on the morning of July 20th for a motorcoach bus ride to the start town. Bikes are packed between packing blankets in a professional semi-trailer; luggage will go in the undercarriage bus compartments. We leave super early in the morning, so you may wish to stay at one of Grinnell’s fine bed and breakfasts or hotels. We will transport your gear from overnight town to overnight town and have a designated campsite for our charter. Our staff will mark the route from the beginning of the town to the campsite. We try to find campsites with good shade, close to showers, restrooms, and food. At the campsite, we provide one sports drink per day and all the water you can drink. If anything you desire is not provided, our staff does make one trip each morning to the grocery store and we can pick up additional items for a fee.  At the end of the week, you will ride back from the end town to Grinnell on the same motorcoach buses.

A typical day on our IOWA'S RIDE Charter is waking up early in the morning.  Between the sun and the other riders getting up you will have no problem waking up early.  Pack your bags and tent up and place your bags at the end of our semi-trailer.  Our IOWA'S RIDE Charter staff will pack your bags in the truck.  You will ride your bike from town to town along the IOWA'S RIDE route enjoying the scenery, people, and other riders along the way.  Know that our IOWA'S RIDE Charter staff are diligently working on preparing a great campsite in the next town for you.  When you arrive in the overnight town our staff will have B2U signs posted from the edge of town directing you to the campsite.  Signs will be posted every block to our IOWA'S RIDE Charter Campsite.  When you get to our IOWA'S RIDE Charter campsite you will find your bags neatly lined up in our campsite, easy to find, and visible.
